Biographical Info

Samantha is an educational specialist committed to helping children who are deaf and hard of hearing get the support needed to excel both academically and socially. As part of the Otolaryngology team, Samantha makes lasting connections with families and equips them with information, guidance, and support needed to make the best possible decisions for their child’s audiological care. She’s a valuable resource for parents looking for assistance in navigating the Early Intervention (EI), Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE), and Committee on Special Education (CSE) processes, as well as gaining information about the New York State educational system as a whole. 

Samantha received a dual master’s degree from Columbia University in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education and Early Childhood Education. Ms. Levy is a licensed Teacher of the Deaf through New York State and holds additional licenses in Early Childhood Education and Students with Disabilities. In addition to this role, Samantha is a Hearing Education Service Provider. Samantha also has years of experience as an Early Intervention and Special Instructor. Her expertise is in the educational treatment and assessment of children with hearing loss.
